What We Believe

•We believe that there is one Living and True God, eternally existing in three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; and that this triune God created all, upholds all and governs all.
Matthew 28:19

•We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired, without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness (NASB)

 

•We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Psalm 90:2

Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were born Or You gave birth to the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.(NASB)

 

•We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teaching, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal visible return to earth.
Matthew 1:23

Matthew 1:23 BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL," which translated means, "GOD WITH US."(NASB)

 

•We believe in the Holy Spirit, Who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, Counselor and Guide.
John 16:7

John 16:7 But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.(NASB)

  

•We believe that all men are sinners and are therefore under condemnation; and that God regenerates and indwells with the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins, confess Jesus Christ as Lord and are immersed into His death.
Romans 5:6- 8

Romans 5:6-8 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (NASB)

  

•We believe in the universal Church, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members.
John 1:12

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name(NASB)

 

•We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the church: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We believe in water baptism by immersion and communion open to all believers.

I Corinthians 11:24

•We believe in the personal, visible return of Christ and the consummation of His Kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, and the eternity of Heaven and Hell.
Acts 1:11

Acts 1:11 Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.(NASB)
